Illegal Aliens Demand 'Rights' and 'Reforms'

gopusa.com — For your humor and amusement, the AP story titled "Thousands rally in May Day effort for immigration reform" is filled with plenty of quotes that show the bias and the slant that the liberal media outlets take on this issue. In the second paragraph, the story talks about marchers across the country who "demanded citizenship opportunities for the es

An acquintance of mine was sympathetic to the immigrant issues and thought they should be permitted amnesty and citizenship if they have been in this country for ten years or longer.

I pointed out that the children of those individuals are attending his neighborhood schools, syphoning off of the public funding through welfare and Medi-Cal/Medic-Aid and, in all probability, working menial task jobs to supplement their welfare income. All of these perks are costing him unnecessary tax dollars. He was unwilling to cast them into negative light and still wants amnesty because "after all, our forefathers, were technically, illegal aliens."

When I pointed out that at the time his and my forefathers came to this country, there were no national borders or laws of the land to prohibit such immigration, he was at a loss for further arguement.

Now, he is beginning to rethink his position.

Funny thing is, he is now leaning towards supporting the Republican candidate for the upcoming Presidential election.

Just for added information, the majority of those who were interviewed on Los Angeles TV stations for the May Day demostrations were unable to speak English; and, they are demanding to be excused for their unlawful entry across the border.

I wish I could come up with an eloquent comment on the issue but all that comes to mind is "screw them."

What if we gave all illegal immigrants citizenship if they joined the military, then we could invade Mexico with no exit strategy.......
