Hey, good luck to them. If a band like them (circa 80's) were around right now, I wouldn't mind my daughter being a fan.

This is no different than me going to see Def Leppard....fun nostalgia and reliving your youth.

My step-daughter was a big fan. They're more 90s and I recall when they bought the house in the suburbs. It was neat to drive by once in a while to see all those little girls sitting across the street hoping for a glimpse of Donnie.

No, it was NOT fun simply to see all those little girls. I know what some of you were thinking, sickos that some of you are.

Too bad Donnie's acting career hasn't taken off the way Mark's has. I'm just glad they turned out so damned GOOD as opposed to their old personas.

May they live long and prosper. What the hell, they're a harmless group that sang harmless songs. Good for them.

They lasted into the 90's, but their heyday was definitely the 80's. Donnie Wahlberg bought a house in Braintree (Pilgrim Road if I remember correctly) and Braintree PD had a detail there to keep the teeny-boppers in check.

Yup, I remembered it being Braintree. Was wondering what street. I remember MTV interviewed the up and coming "Marky Mark" he was playing hoops at their home.

since Mark Wahlberg is the executive producer of "Entourage" is it safe to say Johnny Drama is Donnie Wahlberg? Old has been

The house is still there, but I think they moved their mother to another location. My how times have changed. That street is nice and quiet now. I rarely have ever gone up there, but there is a huge contrast between THEN and NOW.

Donnie is still around but hasn't achieved the same success as Mark. Funky...er Funny how that happened.

Got to love DOT boys (even if they were a bit before my time)!

I can't help but admit the New Kids had/have talent even if they're not my cup of tea. The merchandising was the main thing that drove me nuts. My step-daughter had a beach towel. A BEACH TOWEL! Ugh.
