I agree Rok...if you got hired by Hampshire college all you'd be doing is breaking the state laws by protecting all the property they own (ie...pot, pot, and more pot)...What crimes would you investigate..? "Hey maaaan...someone stole my stash..." I mean - hell Hampshire college doesn't even give out real grades, if I remember correctly.

f that.

Right....as opposed to the other institutions of higher learning in the US, which are all bastions of right-wing conservative thought.

Delta,

Didn't you say that you were teaching part-time at one of those institutions?!

I run my classes like a combination of Ronald Reagan and Patrick Buchanan. That's one of the beauties of being a part-time adjunct; I don't care if I get fired.

If you're teaching in a CJ program, I generally find them to be more conservative (Pro death penalty, Pro LE) than the rest of the school. However there are some who think it's O.K. to smoke pounds of weed as long as you stop when you graduate.

Hampshire College, isn’t that the place where the syllabi for most classes read like this…

Dude, read a book on this subject if you get a chance, but man, experience the world and think about how it might apply to this course, whatever the course is and whatever you want it to be.

If you show up, groovy, if you don’t that’s groovy too since the classroom can be like a prison run by the Gestapo and George Bush, man. HE LIED MAN. Ever notice the flowers? What was I talking about. Oh yeah, the cafeteria is wicked cool but they aren’t serving wine. More war criminals like GEORGE BUSH!

Huh?

Sunday’s man, that’s when class meets, Sundays or Thursdays at 10, whatever, dude.

Peace.
