Ok, I did a search with which came up without any hits. After standing in the rain for the entire 8 hours of my detail today, I'm breaking down and looking into rain pants.
Does anyone have any rants or raves about rain pants? I know Blauer has them ranging from 35 to 150 bucks, and 5.11 now have a line of them as well.
Looking for some officer input

I bought a pair of Spiewak rain pants from Galls a few years ago...they work fairly well - the only things I hate about them is it's hard to get to the various pants pockets, I wouldn't want to run in them, and they aren't really designed to be used with a duty belt (I have to roll them up at the waistband and pull them up to my duty belt so I don't have super droopy pants).
The good thing about them is they can be put on without having to take your boots off (there's a foot long zipper at the bottom of each leg) so you can take them on and off in the car if need be - with some difficulty, but it can be done.
