MARSHFIELD —
A police department visit to a house on Main Street to investigate a report of a fight resulted in three residents being arrested.
When police arrived, just after midnight Friday, they were told that Nadine F. Clerveau, 24, of 728 Main St. had hit a man in the face and grabbed his hair. Police said a man appeared to have been scratched by fingernails.
Police charged Clerveau with domestic assault and battery. She was also arrested on five outstanding warrants.
After Clerveau was arrested, Diana Marie Tincker, 21, also of 728 Main St., began screaming and yelling obscenities and tried to approach the police car in which Clerveau had been placed, police said.
Police said they told Tincker to calm down many times, but she continued to yell and scream, swearing at and threatening to fight others. Police charged Tincker with disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.
While at the home, police found out that there was an outstanding warrant for the arrest of another resident. They arrested Stephen Hart, 31. The charges on the warrant were unspecified.
