The Warren Police Department is accepting applications for a part-time public safety dispatcher. Applicants must be willing to work weekends, nights and holidays.
Responsibilities include receiving and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire and ambulance services and other public safety personnel as required. Certifications in E911, CPR, first responder, LEAPS and prior experience are preferred. Applicants must possess basic computer knowledge and skills, typing skills and the ability to handle stressful conditions. Minimum requirements – 18 years of age with a high school diploma/GED. Starting pay is $11.69/12.29 per hour.
