I just received my card in the mail for the Barnstable Police Department.
Two questions:
Did anyone else on this forum get one?
Does anyone have any specific information regarding the Barnstable PD hiring process?
Any information on how they do their hiring process would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You have to go to the BPD and fill out the list so they know you're still interested in moving forward in the application process. It will take some time for the whole process to "flow". You'll have to fill out a formar application for the department and then they do a background investigation which could take up to several months. Once that is done and they still are interested in you, you will have interviews with a panel and then another possibly with the Chief if your lucky enough to get that far. Then once that is all done you'll be sent to the next academy. Make sure you're squared away first. Barnstable hires the cream of the crop!
