A buddy of mine was a DEO in Boston at the Moakley Ct House. I think he did it for 2 yrs then they made him a Deputy US Marshal. He loved it.

i apply for this every time, at every location, get a 99% on the notice results, and still fail to hear anything back....must be politics

This is twice I've seen it posted. It's always for 1 opening, very competetive. I think the training at FLETC is only about 5 weeks or so.
