NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Federal prosecutors say five men face charges for a computer piracy scheme that involved the large-scale illegal distribution of copyrighted software. A federal grand jury in New Haven returned a three-count indictment charging the five with conspiracy to commit criminal copyright infringement. The indictment names 55-year-old Steven Fiatarone of Spring Hill, Fla.; 43-year-old Michael Uszakow of Oakdale, Minn.; 38-year-old William Parrott of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; 53-year-old Dominic Tymorek of Woodstock, Ga.; and 57-year-old Robert Hardick of Getzville, N.Y. Authorities say they participated in an underground online community of people who use the Internet to engage in the large-scale, illegal distribution of copyrighted software. The indictment alleges tens of thousands of computer files were uploaded and downloaded, including the movie "Anger Management."
