Race And Gender Play Role In Investigation?

Last Saturday, after pumping gas, I was ready to pull out when an impatient man pulled around me and backed up to get his gas. I pulled away and went beside his car, thinking I had enough room, and proceeded to knock off his side mirror. We had words and I called Waterford police.About 45 minutes later when the very handsome white officer arrived, he approached the man first and asked him what happened. He gave his spiel, then the officer turned to me and said only “license and registration.” With my mouth wide open I handed him my information.
My mother, who was there comforting my two young children, said, “Did he ask you what happened?” I turned to her and said no. Then the officer said, “I didn't get that far yet. What happened?,” even though he asked the impatient man right away what happened.
If my mother hadn't been there and spoken up, I don't think he would have asked me my side. It's not just because I am a woman, but because I am a black woman.

Brandi I was pulled over last week myself and the officer also said " license and registration " except I took responsibility for my actions and apoligized. Maybe in the future you should try doing the same instead of accusing an Officer of being racist and pulling the race card, especially when you were clearly in the wrong!!!!!!
