These stories about repeat drunken-driving cases appeared in The Patriot Ledger in the past week:
John T. Padden III, 44, of 80 Manzanetta Ave., Weymouth, pleaded innocent in Quincy District Court to second offense drunken driving. He was told to return to court April 29. The offense allegedly occurred March 19 in Weymouth.
Joao H. Barbosa, 28, of Brockton, pleaded innocent in Quincy court to second offense drunken driving. He was told to return to court May 13. The offense allegedly occurred March 23 in Randolph.
John T. Ostheimer, 48, of Weymouth drunken driving as third offense, operating under the influence of drugs and speeding. Ostheimer was charged after he was stopped Wednesday for allegedly speeding on Union Street in Braintree and the officer said he smelled alcohol on Ostheimer’s breath.
