Main Page Two Holyoke Men Arrested for Possession of Firearms

HOLYOKE, MASSACHUSETTS (WWLP) Two men are under arrest for allegedly firing shots around Chestnut Street in Holyoke. 32-year-old Milton Pacheco and 47-year-old Abraham Ojeda of 93 Elm Street in Holyoke were arrested after police found a 9 mm machine gun fully loaded in their car with ample amounts of ammo on hand. Holyoke Police Chief Anthony Scott said an unknown caller first alerted police of the shooting around 10 o'clock Wednesday night. Police searched the area but found nothing. The caller called back, giving the dispatcher the home address of the suspects.
Chief Scott says Pacheco is an illegal immigrant.
Both are being held on $5,000 bail. Chief Scott said, "The Clerk Magistrate, even after being informed that these individuals were arrested in possession of a fully loaded machine gun, still set the bail at $5,000. We can thank God that they didn't have the money to post bail. I commend the officers involved in making these arrests and hope that the arraignment judge set the bails a little higher today [Thursday] when they appear for arraignment."

I like Chief Scott, he stands behind his officers, and is actively trying to come up with ways to get rid of these BS judges. COWF, ROR, and low bail are sadly the name of the game in MA.
