A second teen was arrested Tuesday, charged with bringing ammunition to Keefe Tech last year, police said.
Charles W. Jensen, 18, was arrested on a warrant at 9:16 p.m. for the incident last June, police spokesman Lt. Paul Shastany said.
Kyle R. McCurdy, now 18, was arrested when a bus driver found the bullets inside a backpack on June 11.
That day, a vice principal called the police because the bus driver found the backpack with a box of Black Talon .357 Magnum bullets in it, as well as a .308 caliber rifle cartridge.
There were 15 rounds in the 20-round box.
McCurdy was the owner of the backpack and denied he had anything to do with the bullets. He said he had left it in the back of Jensen's car for two weeks.
When questioned, Jenson admitted he put the bullets in the bag.
"He said he planned on selling the ammunition to a friend, but changed his mind," said Shastany. "He forgot to take the ammunition back in the house with him."
It is unknown why Jensen was not arrested until Tuesday.
Jensen, of 57 Harrison St., was charged with the illegal possession of ammunition without an FID card or permit.
Jensen pleaded not guilty yesterday in Framingham District Court and was released without bail.
