I just saw a job posting on CJIS for Sharon Pd. Also keep checking the Mass.gov website the State has had several dispatcher jobs posted there in the past few months. Also keep checking here alot of the jobs are posted here before I've seen them anywhere else.

Posted by: rokurmthr61

hell just search all the websites! jobs..com, monseter, mass.gov
use google! haha

Posted by: VanCott

I have dispatched for both private ambulance services and police departments. It's all networking & dropping off resumes. Police departments have access to the job file which is a good source of who is looking but word of mouth is a good bet also.

Check with Hampton, NH P.D. they usually hire one or two part time dispatchers each summer.

city of newton is hiring

haha well actually i know a department that is looking for dispatchers in central mass pm me if your intrested.

Many many places may be hiring but don't advertise. Go around to all the towns in your area in which you live and are willing to travel to, and just ask if they hire civilian dispatchers and submit an application. Can't ever hurt

...Just because you get a job doesn't mean one of the little men in badge that you so enjoy is actually going to date you...haha badgebunny.

Submitting online may save you time, but if you are serious about working at a certain PSAP you should take the time and go in person and ask to speak to the dispatch supervisor.

Just my thoughts.

- Agreed. Pick a day, plan out our schedule and drop by certain agencies that you know employ dispatchers. Dress accordingly, resume in hand and speak with the appropriate person.

- Not everything is better online.

Oh use your imagination deary..... bunnies.... badges.....

Any real dispatcher would chew you up and spit you out - it's about public safety, not homewrecking.

And face it, if they're single at this age they are single for a reason.... usually a very good reason.....

Are you serious? You just ruined any integrity you MAY have had.

Believe it or not...people (both sworn and civilian) read this website...and they can DESTROY you in an interview. Especially seeing how you already lie.

Sorry, but your past here, and the way you handle yourself will not get you a job. Not in this line of work...

And being a self-proclaimed badge bunny...ha. Guess what, we avoid you like the plague when it comes to jobs. So again...you won't get a job in this line of work any time soon. Sorry.

Your best bet...go to another line of work and leave people in uniform alone. Go help work at an old folks home cleaning up or serving food or something...then you can still help people and not harass anyone.

That's as nice as I get.

Posted by: Paramedic1512

ummmmm what is a badgebunni???? sleeping with uniform?? to ruin or just love the power?? i really really dont know. and will not sleep till i know.
