Man breaks into dorm

FRAMINGHAM -- A Framingham State College student is accused of breaking into a dorm room yesterday where two female students slept, sexually assaulting one and trying to rob the second.

Brian Michael McKeon, 20, originally of Quincy, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Framingham District Court yesterday and was released.

McKeon entered the room at Tower's Hall sometime in the early morning, before 6 a.m., Deputy Police Chief Craig Davis said. While there, FSC police say he grabbed one of the woman's buttocks.

One of the co-eds was awakened by the noise of someone sifting through a storage bin she stored underneath her bed, Davis said.

After she woke up, McKeon went to the other bed, Davis aid.

"He walked over to the roommate's bed, who was still sleeping, and he grabbed her buttocks, which woke her up," Davis said.

Instead of leaving when both women were awake, McKeon sat down and began to try to use of the student's laptop computers.

Davis said the woman who was assaulted ran from the room to find the resident assistant. McKeon then left, and the second woman followed him and saw him enter another room down the hall.

"FSC Campus police arrived and noticed this nitwit in the room," said Davis. "He was not a resident of the room."

McKeon was arrested, and charged with indecent assault and battery on a person older than 14 and breaking and entering during the night, both felonies. If convicted of the indecent assault and battery charge, McKeon would have to register as a sex offender.

Not only is McKeon facing legal actions, he's facing discipline at the college, spokesman Peter Chisholm said.

"He is facing campus judiciary actions," said Chisholm. "We are going to remind students they should always keep their doors locked, particularly in the evening when they're sleeping."
