STOUGHTON —
Police arrested two men on Monday on drug distribution charges stemming from separate sting operations.
Robert Freeman, 32, of 756 Ware St., Mansfield, was arraigned Tuesday in Stoughton District Court on a charge of distributing Fentanyl.
Judge Francis T. Crimmins released Freeman on $5,000 personal surety pending a hearing on May 12.
Police said Freeman is accused of trading Fentanyl patches and $165 for 23 Oxycodone tablets in a sting operation that took place at 2:30 p.m. on Washington Street.
In a separate incident, police arrested Joseph J. Anello, 54, of 24 Woodbine Road, Norwood, on a charge of possession of Oxycodone with intent to distribute.
According to a police report, police received information that Anello would make a delivery of Oxycodone tablets outside a Central Street business Monday. Detectives approached Anello’s vehicle and found a small plastic bag containing 53 Oxycodone tablets, police said.
Anello was arraigned Tuesday in Stoughton District Court.

I believe it's lawful purpose is for pain. The stuff is similar to heroin, but a little stronger. It's somehow made into powder form and snorted or injected. I'm not sure if the patches are used to create the powder form or not, but some people just eat the patches.

Fentanyl patches were created to address the abuse in tablet form.

Now they are just chewed. I've never heard of illegally using the patch in any other way.

But your right, it's just a synthetic form of heroin.

Legalized drug dealing. Ever wonder why there's a pharmacy on every corner and across the street from each other?

They're not making their money on last minute milk and batteries or even toilet paper.
