Supervise subordinate staff; patrol an assigned area in uniform or work as an investigator in a plainclothes unit (as assigned); make periodic safety checks of building and grounds; conduct surveillance of assigned areas; determine the extent of violations and take appropriate police action; take steps to effectively handle emergency situations by administering first aid, summoning assistance and directing traffic; investigate complaints and reports of violations of laws and College rules and regulations for student conduct; conduct parking enforcement; and perform related duties as required.
