I would suggest you create an actual survey so you get an idea of wages based on area, size, population, number of agencies, duties required, etc.... Simply asking what people make will not give you the answers your looking for. Your going to get ranges of $4 an hour to $30 an hour with such a broad question.

Myself and the chief have done that. It is so sad that we make at least 20% less than area departments. Thank you for the suggestion though.
