my question is in is to regards to pds in soutern new hampshire. Are there any particular pds in southern nh who put on a decent number of officers when they test. I live in new jersey but have family in the boston area and nh. I am looking towards southern nh because of being able to be close to family and the sheer competitiveness of massachusetts. I have also contemplated the new hamshire state police, because theres a chance a person could get a troop in southern nh. Any feedback would be great from people who live in the southern nh area.

My uncle lives up that way and always says that Manchester NH is hiring. They appear to hold tests regularly. Not so sure about the rest of the area though.

I would look into Salem,Keene, Londonderry, Manchester, Portsmouth...etc because they are larger municipalities and will probably hire more often than the others. As for the NHSP, I dont have any firsthand knowledge about them and I dont personally know anyone who works for them so I dont have any credible information to offer you. I think there is a NH version of MASSCOPS but I dont know the URL offhand. Try looking in the classifieds in the major newspapers out of Manchester because I have seen advertisements there in the past. You also may have luck going to the department's website or perhaps the town/city website and see if they have any employement links or information. Best of luck!

Manchester and Nashua are the two bigs ones in Southern, NH. You could also try the NH State Police. I know that Manch and Nashua are holding tests in early April and they are both looking for quite a few qualified individuals to hire.
