A neighboring Sheriff's Office is converting from Glock 23's to the FN Five-Seven pistol and the Tac team all got P90 sub guns. They let me play and I was very impressed. I thought this was a unique choice...any Mass. departments have FN as there duty gun(s)?

Not that I'm aware of, although the Secret Service use the P90.

I have read extensively about the 5.7x28mm round, and I'm impressed with its ballistics and capability. If submachine guns have any future at all, its with rounds that have armor-piercing capability. Its been found that high-velocity, small caliber rounds transfer their energy far more efficiently than lower-velocity, higher mass rounds. This makes them far less likely to overpenetrate, but far more lethal to the target. Definitely the wave of the future.

Knight Armament's PDW and H&K MP-7 are built along the same lines as the P-90.

Yeah nothing special to look at and it feels and looks like a pellet gun. It is almost awkwardly light. This new ammo is awesome; loading a rifle round (essentially) in a pistol was a first. Wicked low recoil.
