MERRIMACK, N.H. -- A Merrimack man was charged with terrorizing a couple with a gun in their condominium in the town over the weekend.
Michael Saari, 23, was charged with criminal threatening, assault and other charges after allegedly holding a handgun to a man's head and threatening to shoot a woman.
Police said Saari was drunk and became belligerent while visiting the couple Sunday night and began waving the gun around. The couple told police they waited for Saari to go to sleep, took the gun and removed the clip.
Police said Saari woke up, realized the gun was not where he left it and demanded it back. He then held it to the man's head and pointed it at the woman, and the couple didn't know if there was still a round in the chamber, police said.
