JOB SUMMARY: This position is assigned to the CommunicationsCenter with the Division of Law Enforcement at BostonNationalHistoricalPark. The incumbent serves as a dispatcher for a complex operation that ensures clear, effective communication during law enforcement incidents, emergency situations, and day-to-day telephone and radio operations. Incumbent operates an intrastate law enforcement communication system, a multi-channel radio console system, a Motorola 1000+ Nextel pager system, a Dicta phone Digital Communications Recording System and other general computer programs. Accountable for a variety of support functions such as processing violation notices, compiling statistics and processing law enforcement reports related to case/criminal incidents, violation notices, emergency medical services and impound inventory forms.
