WINDSOR, Conn. (AP) - Windsor police say a 45-year-old man is facing murder charges in the fatal stabbing of a woman outside her apartment.
Fifty-1-year-old Patricia Woodland was found dead down outside the Millbrook Village complex on Friday.
Police say Bruce King, the woman's boyfriend, has been charged with fatally stabbing her in the chest. King is also charged with violating a protective order, which had been issued after an incident in January.
Police say King had been staying on and off with Woodland at her apartment. He was arrested Friday night after turning up at the police department to meet with detectives.
He's being held on $750,000 bond and is to be arraigned Monday.
