| I wouldn't think of carrying around a weapon without having one in the chamber and ready to go. You will not have time to rack that slide and make it hot if the time comes when you really need it. | There are very few things more useless in life than an unloaded gun. |
How about a supervisor that's never actually done the job he's supervising? We have a few of those.
On a related note: Is there anybody out there at all mandated to carry with an empty chamber? I don't imagine there would be, but just curious, some poor group might be in such an unenviable and dangerous situation.
have met some transportation guys that leave their gun unloaded. the thinking being they are handling inmates all day and more likely to get shot with their own gun. not the wisest thing , but it does happen.
We always carry the side arm hot. The Rem 870 is cruiser loaded, 4 in the tube none in the pipe. The only problem I have with carrying is they make me check the weapon in a lock box when I go to court. I wonder if my 870 will fit in their lock box. ![]()
