Thank's guy's.
I was wondering because it is easier to get prepared for it ( if i pass the all pre requisites). And also i believe that by preparing for it mentaly and physicaly gives you somewhat of the better understanding of what are you there to do.
I am a very big guy(not fat ) and just want to be able to get the work done.

Also i am asking regarding the MASS DOC Academy.

Viking,

I went through MA DOC in 2001, but I imagine not much has changed. Show up in the morning, PT for an hour. Inspection, then class all mornning. Brief lunch break. Class all afternoon. Go home, repeat. Provided you are in some sort of shape, the PT was nothing to get excited over. Classroom was fairly easy as well. You'll get yelled at regularly, however given the profession you are going in to, that's a good thing. Overall, not too bad.
