Would anybody be willing to offer up how long it usually takes after you've had your interview, until you're notified that you'll be continuing in the process?

Nope.

Depends on the size of the department, the number their looking to hire, and last but not least, the unexpected phone call saying there is no money left in the budget.

If you've already started the process, there are two academies starting shortly. One in Randolph in April and the one at the SPA scheduled for May.

Any department looking to hire now is probably shooting for one of these academies.

It's the lawyer's response: "It all depends."

He's has to be talking about corrections considering where this thread is located, I'll even go further and guess he's asking about the MA DOC. I can't tell for sure though since the initial post was so damned vague.

OOPS!

Then all I know about the DOC is that they have an academy going on right now...

Sorry if I sounded sarcastic earlier...

For me, there was about three weeks between my interview at prescreening and being contacted by the BI.

Sorry for the initial vagueness guys... I am actually talking about MA DOC. I had my interview on Monday, and I'm just trying to get a feel for how long it will take before I potentially hear from the BI.

Thanks Southern Dude for the heads up. The closer I get to the final steps, the more anxious I'm getting...

Next academy is in April. Rumor is there looking for 200 recruits.
