i guess you guys almost missed the footnote that there are 3 other positions available, 2 in framingham, and 1 in Middleboro

And that is the starting salary, plus shift and weekend differential. If not for my kids, I'd be putting in for SF. That's some nice country living out there!

Framingham is cell hell, and they are almost always hiring - for a reason. Middleboro has more fun with Brockton, New Bedford, Taunton and Fall River to deal with.... plus they do more McStupid phone anwering for SE MA. They frequently hire, for a different reason.

The Shelburne Barracks is not that far out, about 15 minutes west of Greenfield. It is a regional dispatch center, dispatching for close to 20 smaller PD's as well as many FD's. My PD uses Shelburne as our dispatch. Pretty good crew up there now. Any questions let me know!!!

Thanks. There is this new thing the kids are doing these days...it's called SARCASM!!!!

Foxy - starting is about $36K, then it's the 12 step plan to "max out", right now it's ballpark $50Kish base.

Then if there's openings for II's, that's two grades up, one step back, and march on.

By the time ya hit step 12, you need a 12 step plan! LOL!
