QUINCY - Three armed men entered a home, bound residents, ransacked rooms and stole money, police said.
The home invasion occurred at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday at a residence on Penn Street near the Burgin Parkway and not far from the Quincy Adams Red Line station, Police Capt. John Dougan said.
A woman was making dinner when someone knocked, and when she opened the door a man came in and put a gun to her head, Dougan said.
He was followed in by two other men, Dougan said. The men tied the residents' wrists and feet, and put duct tape over their mouths and eyes, he said.
No victims were injured, Dougan said. There were five residents in the home.
The three robbers were described as being about 5-6 in height, with thin builds, Dougan said.
Dougan is asking anyone with information about the home invasion to call Quincy police at 617-479-1212.
