I heard a commercial for this guy on the radio today. There was quite a bit of cursing at the radio on my part. Does anyone know this clown? Anyone seen him in a case? The first thing I did this morning in my office was to check out the website (made sure to click through to it from the google ad - it's only a few cents, but at least he'll have to pay). There is some interesting info on the site. It might actually be worth checking out if you are interested in what we are up against and some of the tactics being used. Better yet, forward it to ADA's so they can learn a thing or two about there opponents. The new laws will help us considerably, but an educated approach to enforcement is still necessary. I know this clown well. I had a OUI 2nd trial against him. He uses all sort of tactics to dismiss the breathalyzer. He went on the defense that his client had a disorder called GURD where a burp will throw off the bt. He even flew in a specialist from Buffalo NY to testify that his client had this disorder even though he had never examined him before. The first trial ended in a hung jury ( aren't jurys great... ) I think it ended up costing his client about $14,000 for the defense alone. The second trial ended up in a plea costing another $5,000 for a total of $19,000 for the attorneys fees alone. If anyone wants any info on what to expect from him, fell free to contact me.
