Duties:


Performs police and service related duties to ensure the safety of the Facility and properties. Investigate incidents, complaints, crimes and the enforcement of the Templeton Developmental Center rules and regulations; and performs related work as required.

Candidate must possess excellent judgment, communication skills and the ability to work with the developmentally disabled.
Qualifications:


Minimum Entrance Requirements: None.

Special Requirements: Possession of a current and valid Massachusetts Class D Motor Vehicle Operator's License.

Appointee must be eligible for appointment as a special police officer under Chapter 22C, Section 60 (DPH) and Section 59 (DMH & DMR) of the Massachusetts General Laws. Preferred Qualifications:


Experience preferred in the criminal justice field, police work, security, or the military police.

This is a Civil Service position. This is an Internal and External posting for Templeton Developmental Center.

The position is located in the Campus Police Department, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Shift with Sundays and Mondays as Days Off

ALL EMPLOYEES ARE PAID ON A BI-WEEKLY BASIS AND MUST HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT
