AMTRAK POLICE OFFICER NEW HAVEN, CT $122.2 PER DAY Amtrak has an immediate opening for Police Officers in New Haven, CT. Amtrak Police Officers are responsible for the safety and protection of all persons, both employees and passengers, and the protection of property from damage or loss. Police Officers enforce all federal, state and local laws, prevent crime, preserve peace and apprehend offenders. Qualified candidates must possess a certificate of successful completion of a basic training program at a state authorized police training academy or current related experience as a police officer. Applicants with an Associates Degree or 60 hours from an accredited college or university will also be considered qualified. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and possess a valid drivers license. Must be able to obtain a police commission within the state in which assigned (Connecticut) or in state of residency.
