GREENFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS (WWLP) - A bar brawl turns bloody in Greenfield in the early morning hours of Saturday. One man is behind bars after police say he stabbed a city man, leaving him with critical wounds.
Police say things turned ugly Saturday morning at Alberti's Bar and Grille. Greenfield Police Sergeant Ralph Odem says two local men went at it at the Main Street hang out. Apparently the two had words, when the victim, 28-year-old Taurus Williams went into the mens room he was followed in by 33-year-old Ceasar Villanueva.
Witnesses told police that's when they saw him take out a Swiss army knife and slice Williams in the neck twice, close to his jugular vein.
Villanueva didn't get far, police arrested him outside Alberti's and charged him with the crime. Villanueva is charged with assault to murder and indecent exposure.
