SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS (WWLP) - It was a scene right out of the movies in Springfield Saturday night. Officers were called to Industry Avenue and Cottage Streets and witnessed cars racing each other at high rates of speed.
Springfield Police Captain John Barberi said they found 20 vehicles lined up and ready to race. One man was arrested and his car impounded. Several cars were cited for various violations.
Let me guess the violations other cars were cited for...Altered exhaust, window tint, altered vehicle height...and finally being a complete idiot for pimping out a 1999 honda civic hatchback
