What is the lightest weight and most comfortable body armor on the market Level II or III? I was looking at the US Armor Enforcer XLT but have not seen any reviews on it.

Level III is rifle grade armor, so it is neither flexible nor lightweight.
Generally, Level IIA, II, and IIIA are the most commonly worn soft body armor. At a minimum, you should wear a level of armor that is tough enough to stop rounds from your department's duty pistol. A number of police officer every year are shot by their own gun, or by their partner's gun.
I have used First Choice level IIIA my whole career, and have no complaints. They are also in-state and can properly measure you, rather than you guessing which size is best.
Killjoy, FC is no longer in MA. At least not in the same fashion they used to be. They used to have the whole shabang right here in Brockton. They packed up ship last year and moved everything but a sales office I believe. Labor is cheaper down south where they moved. I think their sales office here is in Braintree, up by the lottery office. Just FYI. Did you ever visit their Brockton factory? You would have enjoyed it.

Department went to US Armor about a year ago. I have no complaint's so far. Even though it is heavier than my previous vest, it fit a whole lot better. Coverage area is good with out being too restrictive. That's my take anyway. Company reps came out a couple times to fit us and help the guys who had issues once we got them.
