Main Page Private Party Sale of a Glock from out of state?

I am trying to obtain some clarification as to if an LEO or active duty military member can purchase a weapon not on the State AG's list (Glock or an H&K is what I'm interested in) from a private seller that is not in Massachusetts?

In a word...NO
But, there is hope. If you are active duty and purchase things like H&K and Glocks while stationed elsewhere, you can bring them home and register them on an FA-10. You can't get anything into this state through a dealer that's not MA compliant.

A: M.G.L. c. 140, §128B, residents who purchase from someone other than a Massachusetts dealer, either within or outside the Commonwealth, must report the purchase within seven days to the FRB. The FA10 form, which can be obtained from any police department, is the simplest way to make such a report.

That is from MA.gov. I just dont know if they can sell you a firearm without a licence from that state, Hope that helps.
