A Filipina secretary is suing two men who lent her Dh24,000 in temporary compensation after they threatened to circulate her naked photos among her acquaintances.
The 42-year-old secretary, L.D., who records say, stripped before her lenders to defer paying the loan, lodged a civil lawsuit against 52-year-old Indian marketing manager, S.J., and 55-year-old Portuguese clothes dyer, J.G., and is claiming about Dh20,000 in temporary compensation before Dubai Civil Court.
The secretary, who is currently being tried before the criminal court for allegedly allowing the men to have consensual sex with her, is claiming civil compensation for her emotional, medical and financial damages following the incident.
The Public Prosecution charged the men with having sex with L.D. who was charged with allowing them have an illegitimate affair with her.
S.J. and J.G. were also charged with threatening to post her naked pictures on her door and show them to her son and her friends if she didn't repay the loan. The Indian was solely charged with possessing 32 bottles of liquor.
L.D. earlier denied having consensual sex with the two men and told Dubai Court of First Instance: "They forced themselves on me."
The Filipina claimed before the public prosecutor: "I borrowed Dh19,000 from the manager and Dh5,000 from J.G. I agreed to return the loan along with 10 per cent interest later, but later they took my son's passport as a guarantee. When they refused to return the passport, I agreed to strip and be pictured nude."
The judge had allowed her to lodge a civil lawsuit against her alleged abusers.
