Does anyone know what the pay is at BSCPD ?

Posted by: BartA1

depends on position

BSC is a state school

Which means AFSCME grade 14 step 1

I think its about 602.00 a week.

hope that helps

Thanks I know some guys that worked there as reserve Officers. They told me that the pay is really bad for them as well as the fulltime Officers.

Disgraceful. The cops at all state colleges, community colleges and UMass are getting screwed over and if Devil Patrick really does care about the working people, then those protecting those working people's kids (and even those older students, of which I once was) deserve to get at least some of the fiscal respect heaped upon the State Police.

Good for the Troopers who are raking in a very VERY nice paycheck, but let's give some solid recognition to all the OTHER state employed Law Enforcement personnel* out there and stop jacking them around.

And enough of this eternal step raise to reach max. crap. Do it in 3 years or less!

* I do NOT want to read some wise ass' reply that those cops don't fall under the state, but under the board of regents. THEY ARE PAID BY THE COMMONWEALTH.

Whew, sorry to rant so, but this issue IS somewhat of an issue for me.
