Hey, I can only assume Snipe. The only time I was in Provincetown I dropped my wallet, I kicked it all the way to Orleans.
But I have heard the citizenry do expect you to bend over for em'.
The selectmen are always trying to stick it to the cops.
And lets not mention the mandatory Village People mustaches and sateen shorts for all rookie patrolmen.

Hey, gay guys are usually in far better shape than regular....norm...aver...STRAIGHT guys, so a woman might love that job. No, she won't 'get any' but she'll enjoy the eye candy.

I know a guy who worked there as a summer cop who loved it. Yes, he was straight as an arrow but really got a kick out of all the work. Plenty of experience for a novice.

I once saw a website or blog, I don't recall which, by a P-town cop who was about as NON-PC as a guy can get and it was damn funny. Anyone else know what I'm speaking of? That site/blog, whatever could give you some great insights.

Sometimes the civilians will be awful cocky when you're dealing with them. However, I suggest you don't let them rub off on you. On weekend nights, officers typically get shot with loads of calls for service. Usually when the officers pull out their sticks in attempt to control the crowds, the result is quite contrary to what they expect; civilians become very hard to deal with and will occasionally cum at the officers instead of obeying commands to disperse said area.

Do you need to have already attended the reserve academy or do they sponser you? I'm sort of confused on how to get into the reserve academy otherwise...can anyone give any tips? Thanks in advance for any help.

You need to have the reserve academy completed prior to working there. To get into the reserve academy you need to get an agency to sponsor you.
