NORWALK, Conn. (AP) - A Bridgeport man has been charged with killing a 51-year-old Norwalk father on Christmas.
Family members have said Larry Paulk was shot in the chest after confronting a group smoking marijuana in the hallway of his mother's apartment building in South Norwalk.
Paulk was the oldest of 10 siblings, including former welterweight boxing champion Travis Simms.
Norwalk police say Donald Curtis Wilson was arrested Wednesday night at a public housing complex in Bridgeport. He was taken to Norwalk, where he was charged with murder and held on $1.5 million bond.
Wilson was to be arraigned Thursday along with alleged accomplice Jason Gonzalez of Stratford, who is charged with first-degree assault.
I was at Norwalk PD this morning patting down a female and they were talking about how they got this guy. I don't care who you are or what your views - murder is not a good move...nor is it an ethical move. But hell, it's Norwalk...and Bridgeport.
