BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) - Bridgeport police say a 21-year-old man who had been shot just a few hours into the new year has died, becoming the city's first homicide of 2008.
Police say Blake Moore was wounded at least twice by shotgun fire early Tuesday after a dispute with one or two men.
Police say three shots were fired. Moore was apparently hit in the leg and shoulder.
Police say Moore died after he was brought by ambulance to Bridgeport Hospital.
An autopsy is to be performed at the Office of the Chief State Medical Examiner.
Moore was apparently hit in the leg and shoulder ... I thought that you couldnt die if shot in the leg and arms! Isnt that why all the cops should shoot people in the leg?
