The Town of Easton Police Department has an immediate Full-Time opening for an experianced Public Safety Dispatcher. Qualified candidate must have a minimum of one year public safety dispatching and hold current certificates in : SEBT-911, APCO 40 hr telecommunicator, APCO-EMD, CJIS/LEAPS and CPR.
Position requres candidate to work any one of 3 shifts, including holiday, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. the 40 hr work week is composed of five, 8 hour shifts. This position includes a competitive union benefit package and shift differentials.
Minimum starting salary is $16.00 hr. Duties include, but not limited to, receiving emergency phone calls, business phone calls, radio dispatching for Police, walk-in-public, operating the Pamet CAD system, Packetcluster MDT, record keeping and other related tasks.
