also if anyone is already a police there, I had a few questions :
How hard is the agility test?
What is the written examination like?
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The agility test consists of two obstacle courses...the most challenging parts would probably be pushing a weighted sled a couple feet and then dragging a 100lb + dummy about 15 feet. I took it in 2004 and watched a couple people fail it. It's the same two obstacle courses used by the MSP as part of thier agility course.

The agility isn't too bad at all if I remember right.. If your taking at the SPA just be careful when you go to push the sled. Don't slam into it or you'll kill your shoulder ....other than that you should be fine...

Yes, I it is at the State Police Academy. It also said that canidates that pass the agility exam will take a written on the same date? I've looked for a test battery and came up short finding one. Is there something I can look at to substitute?

I took the test today. The agility test is now one half of the gym, and instead of 2 laps, you run 4. It was not bad at all.
