Uncle Mikes Double Cuff Case

I am looking for suggestions on how to work with these cases. I have a hard time snapping it shut when 2 sets are inside. Currently, I carry chain in the rear of the pouch and hinge in the front as it seems to be the easiest way to do it. Can these be stretched out somehow before use? I just got the newer style today that I was issued and it is worse than the one that I bought on my own a couple years ago.

Otherwise, any suggestions on different brands of double cuff cases that are easier to work with? This is my only option as the cuff straps or single and open cases are only worn by inside personnel.

I have had the Bianchi double cuff case with the velcro enclosure for about 8 years now. The velvro works much better than the snap on the Uncle Mikes. I bought an Uncle Mikes recently b/c the bianchi is getting worn and faded. I switched back to the Bianchi after about two days b/c I couldn't get the uncle mikes to snap.
Heres a website that has the Velcro.

i had the Uncle Mike's Nylon Open-Top Single Cuff Case and it took me about two weeks to get it broken in. I could not take the cuffs out of the case and if i did i had to use my baton to close it back. With the double cuff case it takes about the same i would place the cuffs in the case and leave them in there for a little while if u have spear cuffs.

I also had the Bianchi velcro double case....it worked great and I had no problems. The only reason I stopped using it is because I switched to the ASP cuffs.

Thanks, I will look into the Bianchi cases.
