Conducts security patrols. Performs traffic duties. Conducts investigations. Makes lawful arrests in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws and Hospital Policy. Provides court testimony if necessary.
Position Qualifications: Equivalent to high school education plus addition specialized courses. Minimum of three years of prior security/police experience required. Must have good communication skills and be able to deal with the general public. Must also be able to work under sometimes-stressful conditions and maintain a calm composure.
Officers must stay current under MGL CH 22C SEC 23. First Responder, CPR, Drivers License, OCAT and inservice classes required.
3-5 years law enforcement experience.
