Thanks for the help this past week over at the Tufts-New England Medical Center. We had a lengthy foot pursuit with a larceny, and A+B suspect during which he jumped onto the tracks and to the opposite platform when we chased him into the NEMC MBTA station. The pursuit finally ended at the Omni Parker house hotel downtown, after our officers, along with responding MBTA, and BPD units cornered the suspect in the mens room. He was taken into custody without further incident, and subsequently charged with A+B, Resisting, Larceny from a building, and receiving stolen property (laptop computer). It was discovered that the laptop had been stolen earlier in the day from a computer company Downtown. BPD detectives will file the appropriate charges related to that incident. As a side note, the lovely suspect had 161 adult entries on his BOP.
Thanks again to the MBTA and BPD guys that assisted us, your timely response made it much easier to finally corner this guy, and at least ruin his day.
