Why was there an investigation ?

Associated Press - December 8, 2007 1:54 PM ET
BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) - An internal investigation clears a Bristol police captain of wrongdoing for taking his 17-year-old daughter to the wreckage of a crash that killed four teens last summer.
Bristol Police Chief John DiVenere says the investigation into Capt. Daniel McIntyre's actions concluded he was not acting in his official capacity.
The review also determined McIntyre and his daughter didn't get closer to the scene than other civilians.
McIntyre has said his daughter was one day away from getting her driver's license, and that he wanted to show her why safe driving was important. He had worked at the crash scene earlier in the evening and returned with her after his shift was over.
DiVenere launched the investigation after Bristol Mayor William Stortz received an anonymous complaint about McIntyre's actions a few weeks after the August 23 crash, which killed four teenagers.

I don't see a problem. They used to show us pictures of horrible crashes back when I was in drivers Ed 20 years ago.

Fuck they should bring whole bus loads of kids to fatal crash scenes of teens.

I was excused from gory-day at drivers' ed only because we'd just lost a cousin, one of 4 girls killed in a crash during February vacation.

We need more parents like this guy.

Here is what happens when you don't were a seatbelt. Also WTF is with the way kids sit in the drivers seat's now.... Well who said common sense came on a roll?

I think it'd qualify for 'impeded operation'.

I can't see anything wrong with that when my son is old enough to drive 'm gonna do the same thing!

We needs more parents like this, instead of parents who sugar coat everything.

A question I have is, who the hell complained?
