ROCHESTER, N.H. -- A man and a woman who police said tried to rob a pizza deliverer at gunpoint were slated to be arraigned Friday afternoon in Rochester District Court.
Police said that a Domino's pizza driver was sent at about 11 p.m. Thursday to deliver an order to the Willowbrook Apartments on Lowell Street, but when he arrived he was told nobody had placed the order. But a gunman was there, waiting to rob him, officials said.
Police said Jon Orme put a gun to the deliveryman's head and stole money and the pizza.
The victim was able to give police the description of a car he saw leaving the scene, which led police to stop and arrest Nikki Emmond, authorities said.
Orme was arrested Friday morning at their home on Harrison Avenue.
Police said the deliveryman kept his cool even though he was looking down the barrel of a gun.
"He was shaken up by this, but alert and aware enough to give us a description of a car he saw leaving shortly after this happened," said Capt. Paul Callaghan.
In the past two weeks, there were two other armed robberies in Rochester. Police are investigating whether they all might be connected.
