CONCORD, N.H. -- A 27-year-old coach with the Express Soccer Club in Concord has been suspended over allegations he had inappropriate communications, some by computer, with teenage boys in the club.
Club President Gary Hirshberg said the alleged communications may have started as long as four years ago, but were reported for the first time Friday night.
Concord police are investigating. The coach, who lives in Manchester, has not been accused of inappropriate physical contact. During the weekend, Hirshberg wrote more than 300 parents of the club alerting them to the allegations and asking them to talk to their children about their contact with the coach. The letter was also sent to parents of past members who may have been coached by the man.
