Duties:
Assistant Attorneys General in the Administrative Law Division represent state officials and agencies in litigation and appeals in state and federal courts regarding state policies, statutes, regulations, and administrative rulings.


Qualifications:
Excellent academic credentials; substantial skill and experience in written and oral advocacy; and familiarity with state and federal constitutional law, civil procedure and appellate procedure. Applicants should have at least three years of litigation experience (which can include a judicial clerkship) and the ability independently to handle complex litigation and appeals. Applicants must be admitted to the Massachusetts bar.
