The Montpelier Police Department is seeking applications for the position of Police Officer. This position has an excellent starting salary along with an attractive benefit package in a modern working environment. This is an exciting opportunity for persons who desire a career in Law Enforcement. Applicants possessing a two or four year degree are desired. The selection process consists of written and psychological examinations, physical suitability test, oral review and extensive background review. Women and minority person are encouraged to apply. Persons possessing a Vermont Full Time Law Enforcement Certification can be considered for lateral entry.
